NEWS: Changes To CIMA Board & Air Transport Licensing Authority

"According to an extraordinary gazette dated May 1, 2024, the board of directors of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and the Air Transport Licensing Authority underwent various changes.


Cayman Islands Monetary Authority


Regarding CIMA, Cabinet appointed Mr Langston Sibblies, a former legal adviser, General Counsel and Deputy Managing Director with CIMA, to the board effective May 1, 2024. His term of service on the CIMA board was not stated in the gazette.


Air Transport Licensing Authority


Concerning the Air Transport Licensing Authority, Cabinet re-appointed businessman Marcus Cumber as a member and Nicoela McCoy, Deputy Director-General of Economic Regulation & Admin at Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands, as secretary for one year with effect from April 30, 2024, until April 29, 2025.


Cabinet also appointed the following new members to the Air Transport Licensing Authority for one year with effect from April 30, 2024, until April 29, 2025:


Mike Adam, Chair

Andre Scott, Deputy Chair

Susan Parsons, Member

Paula Cribb, Member

Carson (Denny) Ebanks, Member"
